CECA Aspen Open, 8/26-8/28/05

CECA's 20th Annual Aspen Open was held on the last weekend of August, 2005. Many members of the club participated in the event, including Dave Hunter, Dave Fisher & Barb Schroeder, Dave & Cindy Hall, Donny & Karen Anton, Matt Hannes, Mike Rock, Gary & Leah Bryan, Ken Hegy, and Ron Stevens. Most members drove out on Friday. Saturday's activities included a car show in downtown Aspen followed by a banquet in the evening. Sunday was a high performance driving event at Aspen Raceway (formerly Woody Creek Raceway). Photos by Matt Hannes unless noted. Click the thumbnail to view the full-size image.

All of the above track action photos were taken with a Canon Rebel X-S SLR camera using Fuji Provia 400F slide film.
